I spent a lot of time on the interview process, having over 6 interviews with different team members including senior management. Was called frequently by internal recruiter being told I was the top candidate, apologising for the delay of the final interview but the last communication was that I would have the final interview the following week and I was the top candidate. I was then literally ghosted for 3 weeks and after chasing, was told the job spec had changed with no further feedback. To say the process was arduous and extremely disrespectful of my time is an understatement. I acknowledge things change with a role but to not have the decency to let me know after the time spent, just very unprofessional overall.
