J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Panera Bread (Pittsburgh, PA) en juil. 2015
Entretien
I had to wait for almost an hour to see the interviewer. When I finally was able to speak with the interviewer, I was overlooked for management immediately, although I have a business degree, experience, and knowledge of the restaurant industry. They said I had to start as an associate, though I knew, from a friend, that this was not the truth. They made promises to get me interested in the position which was that I would move up quickly in the company and could possibly run my own store as a general manager after a year of being in management.

Question 1
I was asked all the normal interview questions: what are my strengths?; what are my weaknesses?; where do I see myself in a year with the company?; how would I manage associates to deal with a problem?; etc., etc.

Three and a half week process and four interviews; the final being a phone interview on a Friday without an answer or offer being given at the time. I believe the person who interviewed me over the phone that day was in the middle of having a snack while he was speaking to me, which was less insulting than the sexist five minute, uninvited lecture he provided regarding supplemental insurance and maternity leave…In limbo all weekend, until Wednesday when I was called by HR and told they opted for another candidate. There is a much more ethical route to take when it comes to interviewing for management roles-this isn’t it.

Question 1
Working at the same company your entire career doesn’t make you smarter or “better” than your peers. It means you have less experience in work and life overall; it doesn’t mean you get to treat someone who is more educated and experienced than you as lesser.
Was asked about self to describe self and explain self.
Why I was suitable for job.
Spoke to me about the role and what it entails and what I can offer the company
Easy, and I felt comfortable with the person who was interviewing me. He made is easy and made me feel like I had plenty of time to think about my responses to the questions.
