recently interviewed with HCA Parallon for the Physician Scheduler position. I prepared thoroughly and invested significant time and effort to ensure I was ready to present my best self. Unfortunately, the interview process was disappointing—not only did I receive no feedback afterward, but I was also completely ghosted by the hiring team.
What made this particularly demoralizing was the lack of basic follow-up or transparency. After all the preparation and the time taken away from my active job search, I was left with no closure or insight into where I stood. This experience has not only been a waste of time but has also added to the growing frustration of searching for a role where candidates are treated with respect.
When job seekers dedicate their limited time and energy to prepare for an opportunity, the least an employer can do is provide a simple update. Being ghosted after an interview isn’t just unprofessional—it undermines the confidence of those already navigating a challenging job market
