The communication is extremely inconsistent. It’s understandable that a large company like Viacom may not be quick with there responses. However, some departments within Viacom post job positions online similar to the fast food industry. Whereas they are not currently hiring for the role but they want applications on file.

Short online application, upload CV and basic questions. Followed by an invitation to an assessment day which consisted of a brief presentation of the company from HR staff, a group assignment, a short interview and an email writing assignment. The assessment day was then followed up with a longer interview, approximately an hour, with two members of the communications team.
