I had great conversations with several of the leadership members over the course of a few weeks for a consulting position. It appears to be a young, ambitious company with a lot of potential which made me very excited about the opportunity. However, I was disappointed when I’ve received a rejection within 2 minutes after disconnecting from one of the scheduled informal meetings with the new leadership that I felt went well. It came across very unprofessional, especially as they had me booked for one more meeting afterwards. This made me question did they already have a candidate selected since there was no deliberation time or were there crossed wires in communication on their end. Wish everyone all the best but I hope this process is improved.
