Third-party recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn, I reciprocated interest and had a 15-min call with recruiter where he asked me some general questions, described the role and threw a few situational questions in that he said the company recruiter would ask. Next had a phone interview with company recruiter, was about 30 minutes and all very standard. Only real curveball question there was, "Would you current employer be surprised if you left?" From there I had a 1-hr Zoom interview with the hiring manager and another dept. director who would work with the role directly. That conversation was relaxed and easy-going, with some standard behavioral questions thrown in. Interview went really well and I felt confident I would have another interview. The next day I got a rejection email.
