HR Screening call about a week from submitting the application--the Rep will ask basic questions--why this company/imprint? Why publicity? What books do you read?--and maybe some specifics from your resume. At the end of the call, they scheduled an in-person interview for the next week. The in-person starts with the same HR rep, again lots of standard questions. Then you'll meet the hiring manager(s) who ask their own questions. At the end of the interview I was asked to write a press release and then went back for another in person with the hiring managers' superior--this one was super quick and felt more like a formality. A few days later I was offered the job over the phone by HR.

First, you have a phone call with HR to figure out things like availability, whether or not you can work in the US, what the role consists of, and when you can start working. After that, you have a call with the person who will most likely be your supervisor if you get the job.

HireVue interview process. I was given 3 questions and had to record myself answering them. There was time to prepare for the questions and then you recorded yourself answering. I only have one try at each question.

The process included multiple rounds of interviews with Vice President and other senior managers, in descending order of company standing. They asked mostly standard questions, and overall created a very conversational and welcoming atmosphere.
