      First HR interview was smooth and nice. second interview was with one of the founders , ALL the interview he was clearly looking at another screen and doing other things than listening to my answers . felt disrespected , lost the interest in this job already from the beggining of the interview.

      I went through three rounds of interviews. I was provided a case study to complete after the first round with HR. I was called to the second interview to present my case study with the CS Team Lead and the CS Experience Lead and got a lot of good information about the team’s growth. My final round was with the CEO. At every stage of the process, I felt the team was very respectful of my time and were transparent about whether I was a good fit for their organization. There is definitely a good culture here: the team is truly diverse and international, and you can see they are genuine in how they want to support joiners as the company grows. I was given the feedback that the role was not a fit in that it was too small given my development goals, but connected for future opportunities in their talent pool.

      Had really great chats with the recruiter and with the team, and was really excited about the idea of a future at this company, and this team specifically. The founder interview, however, was one of the most negative experiences I've had in an interview process. He had to ask what job I was applying for, and it was apparent he had not looked at any interview notes prior to hopping on our call. He described a role that sounded very different from what I had just discussed with the team lead, asked questions in a very aggressive manner, and was overall quite rude throughout the call. I explained my previous experience & how I felt it translated to this role at Perdoo, which he met with a scoff and said they don't sound similar at all but I can believe what I want (for context, I was a CSM for a SaaS product before -- that's pretty relevant). He asked 'what do you even think our product does' and I responded that it is an OKR / KPI platform, where you can set, track and manage your goals -- again met with laughter and 'ok sure'. I was immediately turned off from ever working here, but I was ghosted after the call (never heard another word from the recruiter) and not given the chance to give my direct feedback.

      Thanks so much for providing us with some feedback regarding your interview experience. We are really sorry to hear that the interview you had with our CEO was such a bad experience for you. Your feedback was shared in detail and we can ensure you that it wasn't the intention to be perceived like this. Nonetheless, your precise examples were super helpful, as it gives us more insights on what to focus on. Regarding you saying that you were ghosted after the interview and hence could not provide direct feedback: we went through all e-mails with candidates being interviewed for this role during this timeframe and we reached out to every candidate after the final call, where we asked for a feedback call. This is super important to us, as we believe feedback is important from both sides. As the communication in our recruitment process is sent via our ATS "Recruitee", it unfortunately happens once in a while that e-mails land in the spam folder, which may have happened in this case. We either way want to thank you once again for your feedback and wish you all the best for your job search.
