O would describe TravelPerk’s recruitment process as refreshing.
Candidates are expected to be informed about this fast growing startup and all the things that It stands for.
I must admit that I was very pleased when I was informed this recruitment process had several parts and that instead of rushing It, the recruitment team was committed to get to know the candidates in order to ensure they were a perfect match for the vacancy.
Each interview allows the interviewers to test you, to get to know you and for you to get to know Travelperk from the perspective of the people that contribute daily for it’s growth.
Overall, this company has a very modern yet very professional approach which fascinated me.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Several. I was asked technical questions as well as questions that demonstrated my work ethic
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Perk en juil. 2019
Entretien
I went through 4 video calls, one test and they review references with 2 of my colleagues and 2 of my superiors. The process was longer, but overall I think it was a very good experience. Recruiter I dealt with made sure I had all the information about the process, position and the company. I was contacted every time within the time I had been told I would be contacted and I enjoyed the calls with other people from TravelPerk as well (Amadeus expert, HR guy and vice-president Michaela). It was my first time I interview for international company in different country than I currently live in, but I got all necessary information, even more.
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Perk (Barcelone) en juin 2019
Entretien
The interview process was too long.
1. First video call with HR
2. Online assessment
3. Video call with the Amadeus expertise
4. Video call with the Team Leader
5. Video call with another member of HR
6. Video call with the VP Sales
Each step was very well explained by HR.
Since it was a long process (specially to be a regular Travel Consultant) I admit I lost my interest a bit and I felt redundant. After two months process and 6 steps the feedback received was they missed in my answers extra details. Disappointing.
