I got an interview by speaking with the store manager. I began with telling her about my experience working in retail and animal clinics during college. She then told me I'd be working part time with 50 cents less than what I made as a retail store clerk before. I protested, saying my experience should at least qualify me for the same if not a little bit more of an hourly rate.
