I was a referral so my process may not be typical. My first interview was a recruiter screen. The next was with the hiring manager. The final two were with the company CEO and COO. The process took about 3 weeks and I was very impressed with how quickly executives were able to interview me. The scheduler they use is very easy and usually had openings within a day.

Phone screen, prep session with the recruiter and then to the department leader. Department leader took a long time describing the environment. The job and then ask basic questions. They wanted to get to know "you" but then visibly shut down when they heard something they didnt like.
