I had an initial screening call with the recruiter before being confirmed for a hiring manager virtual interview with the CFO. A half hour before that interview, I got a text from the recruiter that the CFO was unavailable and that I’d be meeting with someone from the Performance Marketing team. Messy, but okay, The person who actually did the interview was unpleasant and confrontational about my experience (obviously without having looked at my resume) and was almost arguing with my responses to her questions. She was also incredibly defensive about the status of the company in the market vs. bigger, more well-known competitors. Definitely seems like a place to avoid.
