Applied via LinkedIn. Interview scheduled with recruiter. He was a very nice guy and professional. Had to take an assessment that measured math and overall comprehension. Passed their test(s) there were 2…Then the recruiter set up an interview with the hiring manager. She was nice and we hit it off. Was told I’d have to meet with 3 more people then they’d fly me in for a face to face. But I was originally being told it would only be 3 interviews. After I met with the hiring manager I met with a sales executive (not sure why because I wouldn’t be reporting to her but ok). She was nice and said she may want to do a follow up after I met with a few other people. Said they’d be in touch. 3 days later I got the dreaded “We’ve decided to go with another candidate that’s a closer match to our needs for this role.” No explanation just a we thank you and please join our talent community (no thanks).
