      Entretien

The interview process was very straight fowards and I met with different people HR and Design team. The interview wasn't too short or too long and they asked common questions. When I reached out about my application status or to know if i was going to go forward in the interview process they went MIA

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Planned Parenthood en févr. 2021

      Entretien

The first two interviews I had were good. The first was with the person who would've been my manager and the second was a panel interview with 3 team members. I was then asked to do a project that included 3 separate tasks. The project was strange because it didn't include using the actual brand guidelines so it didn't seem super useful in my opinion. The main issue I had with this interview process was the length of time and my final interview. My final interview was with the person who would've been my boss' boss and she was super unprofessional. They showed up 8 minutes late to the interview and were clearly very unprepared. I could tell right away that she had made up her mind with another candidate, and it was evident that she had no interest in speaking with me. I asked what she thought of the project that I had taken hours to complete and she responded, "Well, the project doesn't matter that much, I only really care about your portfolio". I got zero feedback and felt like I had wasted so much time and energy into something that clearly had no value. She barely answered any of my questions and ended the interview at the originally stated time even though she was late. I didn't hear anything for about a week and half, so I reached out to the talent acquisition person to see if there were any updates. I then got an automated email 10 minutes later from PPFA saying "Thanks for your interest! We have to decided to move forward with a different candidate at this time." which was very strange and seemed like it was meant for people who had just applied. It was almost as if they had forgotten to send me a rejection email until I followed up. I then got an actual human response from the talent acquisition person telling me I didn't get the job. After 1.5 months of interviewing, I felt like my time was wasted and not acknowledged. Is it really that hard to reach out to someone after an incredibly long interview process to tell them why they didn't get the position? The whole process left a bad taste in my mouth and made me feel less human.
