I had two interviews. The first was a phone interview with an HR rep, with whom I'd been communicating with by email after having submitted my application. It was pretty standard. I was selected to do a second interview, this time with the hiring manager. She was a very nice lady, and the interview was really easy. I answered a few questions, but mostly, she described the responsibilities of the position. I also did a proofreading assessment, which was not difficult. A few days later, I received a voicemail from the HR rep I'd been communicating with in the first place. When I called back, she asked me a bunch of very uncomfortable questions about my debt. Apparently, they'd run a background check that included a very thorough credit check, and she was following up about that. I answered her questions, then about a week later, got an email that they were considering other candidates.
