Incredibly unprofessional. Both the first and second round interviews were an hour late. Had to complete half a Literature and Language paper in less than half the time and the scores from this is what decides your pay. The mini mock tutoring session was frequently interrupted and I was later told there was an issue with my accent though my actual student had no problem understanding me. Even after you make it through, you are expected to pay for your DBS check and complete 48 hours of unpaid training, with an insane schedule - I was listed to complete 8 hours a day for 6 days straight before I turned the offer down, and they wanted me to start at 3pm on the day of my second interview. It's easy to get in here, but I do not recommend it. The children seem nice, but the environment is so incredibly toxic in such an apparent way that it just isn't worth it.

It consisted of a one-hour GCSE mock, followed by a role-play exercise based on a poem. In the role play, I had to teach the poem to a student as I would in a real lesson, focusing on helping them understand the poem and guiding them through its meaning and ideas.
