      J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Prodrive (Banbury, England) en févr. 2012

      Just a few points I thought I'd share from my assessment day. HR couldn't organise an egg & spoon race, from when we got there, there were problems with the presentation they had prepared for us, the guy meant to be giving it was stuck on the phone for 20mins and then when he finally got back to us he just showed a video compilation of all their motorsport success. The day started with a group 'team building' exercise where 10 of us fought over some lego bricks whilst HR probably discussed what had happened on Masterchef the previous night. We then had individual interviews where the engineer interviewing me interrupted me on two occasions to take calls from a colleague. He didn't really give me a good idea of what the job would entail and the HR woman nodding along to the side of him just occasionally asked things like; 'give 3 words to describe yourself' etc etc. Then we were asked to do a written test to bide the time between interviews and our tour (i'll get on to that later) this was quite in depth and speaking to the other candidates agreed that this was a bit geared towards automotive eng graduates when there were a mix of electronics and mechanicals there applying for jobs that were less automotive intense. Then the tour was a 20 min skip around the facilities showing us all the shiny aston martins and mini wrc cars, didn't meet anyone that worked there and didn't even see where or what I'd be working in/with. So not the slickest assessment day ever but DON'T GET ME WRONG - I'm sure they are a fantastic company with great jobs, just assessment days should be more about them selling the company to you and giving you an idea of what it's like to work there. Just my beef, so didn't get the job but by this point I'd received an offer from my number 1 choice so I wasn't too upset, hope this helps any prospective applicants ;-)
