      Entretien

      I applied online after seeing the listing on LinkedIn. About 2 weeks later I was interviewed via phone and invited to take an online assessment before coming in for an in-person interview. The assessment was basic personality, logic, typing etc... In the office I was interviewed by 3 senior employees/management. I was then invited to provide 3+ references. Their referencing system consists of an online survey you email to your chosen references and the results are then anonymously averaged into a single report.

      We’re sorry to hear that you had a negative interview experience but we appreciate your feedback. The candidate experience is one of our top priorities. You are correct that the interview process is a reflection of the company and our values, which we take very seriously. We have a multi-step hiring process at Progyny. Depending on the role, our process typically includes phone / in-person interviews, an assessment and a project or presentation and a final round of interviews. We try to make ourselves available after hours if needed, to reduce the impact on candidate's current job. It can be time consuming however has yielded great results.       The interview process was quick. I applied online, and was contacted by the HR rep within 2 days of applying. The phone interview lasted about 30 minutes and I was invited for a face to face interview. I interviewed with 2 senior team members, both of whom stated I was perfect for the job. I was told that their supervisor had to give the final stamp of approval, but she was away at a conference. Nevertheless the interview was scheduled. The final interview was extemely brief. I could tell from her facial expression and body language, she was not interested in hearing what I had to say or my experience/background, almost dismissive. I was not greeted with the same positive attitude that the senior team members displayed at the previous interview. I was told I would be contacted by the end of the week. After receiving no call back, I outreached the HR rep to follow up. She brushed me off and stated that she was unable to talk and would call me back, which she NEVER did. I then emailed the director (the one who did the final interview) a few days later, thanking for the interview and asked if I was still being considered for the position. Lo and behold the HR rep emailed me back finally stating that they decided to "move in another direction". I guess they still haven't found what they are looking for as they continue to post for this position on Linkedin.
