I sat before store manager , assistant store manager, and departmental manager. Lots of customer service situation questions. Very relaxed atmosphere. Started with departmental and assistant store manager. After 30 minutes of questions they called for store manager. He ask about how I handled situations at my previous job. Decision making process on the spot.
Relaxed one on one interview process. They want to know why want to work at Publix, how you will handle angry customers, and what your weekly shift availbility is. They prioritize candidates who can work busy retail hours, such as weekends, late evenings, and early mornings.
