I was contacted by Matt Lugar by email and after an initial phone interview was invited to come in for an in-person meeting. I was given a tour of the office and taken to see the demo field and was taken out to lunch. The interview was very friendly and personal and allowed for natural communication and the ability to really get to know each other. I don't remember getting any of the standard interview questions, which was refreshing. After interviewing with Matt I also met with the head of HR. She explained the company culture, benefits, asked me questions about salary to make sure expectations were in line. After that in person meeting I followed up with a thank you note and expressed my interest in continuing to learn more about the organization. I met with the CEO, VP of Product Development and the Sales Engineer. The CEO asked questions about why I'm a good salesperson and raised questions and objections about my candidacy. It felt like a very friendly conversation and I could tell that the CEO is very sharp and good at reading people. I was very impressed with the organization and the team.
