It was all thru text messages and thru Telegram. She proceeded to interview me thru messages and then told me I needed to deposit an e-check into my account to buy the equipment needed to work. But I had to buy from a certain company. It was super sketchy and I don't even know if it was scammers using this companies name or if this whole company is a scam. The way the interview went it sounded as if it was a typical scammer from a different country who doesn't speak English as well and is very intense. Using manipulation to make it seem as though you are the one that needs to be trusted in example: "We are trusting you to do the right thing and use this check for what it is intended for. Is that clear?"
