I got an offer and I signed it already but it got cancelled midway during my transition period. The reason according to them is that company was having retrenchment and they had to drop all new employees (either it's because of thr covid crisis or they found another employee). I was only informed about this almost a bit late. If I did not inquire them I might have ended up jobless. Good thing my previous employer has not yet found a replacement and I was allowed to continue working, which is also embarrasing to on my part. There are no legal actions against job offer being cancelled so beware. This made me traumatized in applying to any startup businesses from now on. I have wasted a lot of time and money trying to get the requirements. Perhaps the rumors about this company that they don't care for employees are true after all. Message to company: Please do not hire people if you don't plan in taking them seriously or just want to give them false hope. You are clearly scamming people to unemployment.
