I was recruited via LinkedIn by a company employee. First, sent resume and received the job description for the intial posting I was considered for. Phone interview with manager. Follow-up from manager about another opening a few weeks later. The interview is not difficult. However, a few points to keep in mind:
1) only communicate via email ( no text messages and calls)
2) do not consider the position if no written job description is sent
3) expect delays so plan to wait to hear back
4) do not accept any offers unless the written formal copy is sent
5) "As priorities, strategies. budgets and other factors change as they are a dynamic company." They might change their initial job description upon offering the job
6) my review is not rating the interview only but also includes my review of the hiring process and communication. It will definitely "differ from other candidates or new hires" as not everyone posts when they have an issue with a company's hiring practices.
7) my review is not intended to "discourage you from applying to this company" as I do hope the company takes feedback to improve its hiring practices and grow since there is always room to improve
Overall, the interview is easy. Company needs to improve on communication and formal hiring process.
