Very friendly interviewer and great discussion. Salary was a possible sticking point point and recruiter indicated that she would follow up on salary hiring manager next day. Five days later, still no response despite sending a reminder email. Disappointed at the lack of follow through. A brief email would have been appreciated since otherwise, was told that I would be advancing to next phase.

Applied and we did a phone interview. The interview went ok, but they said they were only progressing a small number of candidates and I was not selected. That is fine. What I thought was odd, is that I have many years of work experience. Due to my advancing age, my education rarely comes up at all for senior roles. They want to focus on your relevant experience. This recruiter wanted to go over every single bit of education, going right back to my primary degree [over 20 years ago]. Do I want to work for someone who judges folks aged over 40 on what school they went to :)
