11-week process including a 30-minute HR phone screen, a 45-minute 1:1 interview with the hiring manager that was rescheduled due to the hiring manager's previous meeting running over, which they communicated well, 2 - 45-minute skill set interviews that were both rescheduled following a no-show from the first interviewer, 1 - 45 minute cultural fit interview, 1 - 30 minute presentation that required about 30 hours of prep work based on a case study provided 6 days in advance to produce a 2-page improvement plan and 8-slide deck PowerPoint, and lastly, a generic rejection letter 11 weeks later from HR with no communication from the hiring committee. I remained extremely patient because I wanted the role and everyone I met was wonderful. Nevertheless, my experience with an experience management platform is a strong reminder that employers need to be more respectful of a candidate's time, and at the very minimum, the hiring manager should personally reach out to candidates who have provided this much time and energy to their organization.
