I interviewed over the phone with what seemed to be a brand new recruiter or "phone screener". She was all over the place and could barely explain RR Donnelley. I honestly think I understood the company more than she did. It seemed like she had no idea what she was talking about. The interview was easy, but she was rambling and confusing which was surprising for a company like RR Donnelley. I've never had a phone screen like that in my life, it was so bizarre. I didn't hear anything after the call (I waited a week), so I followed up with no answer. I ended up reaching out 3 times via email and twice on Linkedin with no response, to only receive an email 2 weeks later that they "chose another candidate". I absolutely respect this - but the job posting is still up and was re-posted as of yesterday. I really wish companies would be honest and transparent. Just a bad look overall.
