J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez RMIT University Vietnam (Hô-Chi-Minh-Ville) en mars 2022
Entretien
I applied for the part-time role, but then because I did well, they offered me another interview for the full-time position. The second interview for the full-time position was really long, about 1,5 hour, they asked me numerous questions regarding both teaching skills and technical knowledge (in my case, Law)
The questions themselves are not very challenging but duration is long, so we need to prepare very well. I prepared almost all possible questions and they basically asked me 90% of what I prepared, it means they asked a lot.

Multi-stage interview process including an initial HR screening, online teaching demonstration, and panel interview. Questions covered teaching approach, relocation, workload expectations, and personal circumstances related to relocating internationally for the role.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
While parts of the process were professional, I felt some questions focused heavily on my family situation and whether relocation would be manageable as a parent, rather than primarily on my qualifications and experience. This left me with concerns about inclusivity and interviewer bias, and by the end of the process I no longer felt the institution was the right fit for me.

There's three rounds of interview including the screening step with the HR representative, then followed by the teaching demo that is attended generally by the faculty members, before moving to the final one with programmer managers both in Vietnam and Melbourne, together with School Academic Leaders.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
The teaching demo is around 30 mins and then followed up by many questions from faculty members. If the topic is relevant to the teaching programs, specific questions may be raised which needs concrete answers while in other cases, general questions should be expected. The final interview basically consists of the teaching and research presentation and structured discussion on how you fits with the program / school.
