I interviewed over at the Grand Hyatt in Boston, MA in November, 2017.
I had interned at Raytheon in Tucson, AZ; and was attempting to connect to a position in New England, as I knew the company had multiple facilities in the region. After a quick phone call interview, I was invited to their big “Top Candidate” event in Boston, MA for a jobs at any of the facilities in Massachusetts.
I originally was invited for the OTDP (Operations Talent Development Program), but had an extra interview added on by Whole Life Engineering (WLED) as an Eng Logistics Specialist. It was a two day event, the first day was learning about what the company produced at the New England sites and also tour of Integrated Defense System’s big factory in Andover, MA. The second day was a set of interviews where I did two rounds with the OTDP team and one round with the WLED team. It went pretty well, I had interviewed with Raytheon on multiple occasions, along with already having worked at the company in a summer internship, so I was familiar with the type of questions they asked. These teams focused on asking me behavioral questions over technical which was generally new for me as both roles required technical skills.
That night, when I flew back home from the interview, I received and email telling me I had gotten the job. All around, it was a great experience.
