      Entretien

I have interviewed twice for this company for separate roles. Both times I have interviewed for this company I have had some of the worst interview experiences ever. Because of this, I will never consider applying for any position with this company again. The first time I applied (online), I was contacted right away for a screening interview, scheduled for the next day. I was qualified for the job based on the job description. Upon entering the interview, I was informed that they had hidden requirements and required extra years of experience that were not listed on the posting. After confirming the interview was for the same job I applied for, I was told by the HR rep that, before the interview, they determined that I would be "probably a no" but that they were just curious of some specific experience I had. Despite this, they said they would get back to me in 2 days and that if I didn't hear anything, to reach out. 2 days come and go and I reach out, as they asked, only to be ghosted. What an absolute waste of both of our times along with the unprofessional behavior. The second time I applied (also online), I was yet again asked for a screening interview. This job I was again perfectly qualified for and it was for a remote role. Upon getting into this interview, they reveal that it is in fact not a remote job like the posting states, but that they prefer someone in a specific city so that they can be hybrid for the specific program. It so happens that the program the job position supports also has an office where I live. I bring this fact up, but they seemed to only want someone in this specific city, but say that they will check. Once again, 2 days come and go, but this time I get an automated rejection letter. Once again, a bust, and feeling yet again like my time was wasted because of a lack of transparency and being straightforward. If you are looking for someone to be hybrid, do not list it as remote. I would be very cautious applying for this company. They do not seem to value transparency and honestly in their hiring process and that makes me worried that such traits will carry into their work culture.

I have applied and interviewed for 2 positions at Rackner. Both interview experiences were the most unprofessional and negative interactions I have had with a company. Due to this, I will no longer consider applying to any positions at Rackner. The first time around (a few months ago), I applied online and was contacted immediately to schedule an interview. I was completely qualified for this position per the job description. Upon entering the interview, the HR rep reveals that they have hidden requirements and want extra years of experience, none of which is labelled on the job description. After confirming that the interview is for the job I applied for, the HR rep reveals that because of these hidden requirements, they determined that I was going to be "probably a no" before the interview even started, but that they wanted to interview me to see if I would give them insight into a government project I have experience with. I find this to be completely backward and unprofessional. I am not good enough to meet your hidden requirements for a job, but I have enough experience that I should just tell you proprietary information to give you an advantage in contracting a government project for free? Despite all of this, they say they will reach out in 2 days with a decision, and they ask me to follow up if I do not hear anything. 2 days come and go and I follow up as they asked, only to be ghosted. Months pass and recently I applied for a second position, hoping that the first experience was just a fluke. I apply for a remote role that I am yet again completely qualified for. I am asked for an interview within 24 hours. I get into the screen interview, and they reveal that they are looking for someone who lives in a specific city to work on a hybrid schedule, not remote. After confirming this interview is for the job I applied, I learn more about the position and learn that the gov project this position supports has an office in my city, and that I have direct experience with it. I bring this up, but the HR rep does not seem motivated to make anything work. I am told yet again to hear something within 2 days and to reach out if I don't. This time, I get an automated rejection message, and feeling like they wasted my time again because they are not being fully transparent in their job descriptions. I would be very cautious applying for a job with Rackner. The lack of transparency and honesty in their hiring process along with the lack of respect for candidates are huge red flags for me. During both interviews, I was not given any additional information about the company and the HR reps did not want to sell it to me at all. I find it amazing how they can and will treat people like this, especially with being in an industry where there is an extreme shortage of workers with a security clearance.
