I was reached out by a recruiter for Rackspace after confirming the basics salary I was sent the job description and invited to a phone interview. The job description was that of a service desk role, however I decided to go ahead for interview experience. The interviewer was from the us and the line was very bad. The questions were very specific to the web servers support they and not typical infrastructure questions which is my background so I don’t know why the recruiter reached out in the first place. I was then invited to another technical test online. The Linux version of the server was unbuntu where I am used to RHEL and Centos OS’s and the sudo password was not given. I decided to call it a day as the whole thing was a disaster and told the recruiter I was not interested going further. This was not a good impression of Rackspace and after reading the reviews on here I’m glad I did proceed with the test.

4 Rounds of interviews, Which include online exams and virtual interviews. 1. online English grammar test- laptop camera should be on and you can not leave once you start. 2. Technical interview. It was a panel of 2 persons which test your techical skill for the role you applied {for me it was Linux} 3. Managerial round- this is a little difficult as they check your stability and long-term association with the organization. 4. HR round- It was fun as after clearing all the above interviews it was time for salary negotiation :).
