First, there is an initial screen with hr recruiter followed by a 48 hour window where you are asked to take home code assessment that may take up to 2-3 hours. Afterwards they said there's a follow up with a code review and another conversation with the architect. I did not make it pass the code assessment and all I was told was that they would not be proceeding with my application. Software is a craft and if you want to build it from scratch, it takes a little bit more time, especially to flex your architectural design. It felt real shady that they were asking candidates to give up potentially 2-3 or more hours of their time to perform an assessment and not give them the decency of a reason or a code review. Don't waste your time.

Take home assessment is to be done in typescript python. You have the option of choosing front end or back end but expect to do a bit of both.

VPE spoke to me for half an hour, heavily inflating the value of the company, team and the product. Take-home assignment that turn out to be a real problem they have been struggling with for a year.
They use interview to extract information from candidates, and they interview even they don't have money to actually hire.

I was instructed to complete a take home assignment, using python to interact with a C# library. That was the only question.
