I applied for this Tokyo based position on Rakuten career site. The whole process took one month.I’m pretty sure i did the online codility test correctly. But they told me I’m not able to get to the next round.
So even if you passed the coding test, you may still won’t have chance to get that job due to other factors like your working experience or something else.

Entretien
The first round is an online coding test, the second round is a video interview where you will write code, followed by some questions based on the code. I haven't passed the second round of the interview yet.
Coding challenge. 1 Technical interview, 1 Interview with division manager and 1 interview with top manager.
The coding challenge is used as screening as well as CV. Technical interview is not that hard. The other 2 interviews are more of a character test interview.

Applied via a recruiter, kind of weird because applied as software engineer and fullstack dev.
Got a 120min Codility test in Algo, not a difficult test if you practice algo coding tests, about me, I'm a beginner in pure algo. I couldn't finish the test but they ask me for an interview anyway.
Normal process = 3 interview ( 45min each ).
At the first interview, 2 people asked me tech questions front & back, good atmosphere, I had something to say for every question, I was not confident on each but, no real blockers.
I didn't even reached the second interview. They told me it was not enough beside of my background.
