Unnecessary In-Person Interviews for Initial Rounds
I recently attended an interview at Reliance Nippon Life Insurance and was disappointed with their interview process. They require candidates to attend the first round of interviews in person, which I found to be a significant waste of time.
This initial round could easily be conducted via Zoom or another online platform, saving candidates the trouble of commuting and rearranging their schedules for a preliminary meeting.
In today's digital age, where online interviews are the norm and can be just as effective, insisting on offline interviews for the first round shows a lack of consideration for candidates' time and convenience.
I would advise other candidates to consider this before committing to an in-person interview with Reliance Nippon Life Insurance.
