J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Relias en juil. 2017

After applying and going through initial screening, you are sent a link to personality and logic timed tests that take about 30-45 minutes total to complete. If your scores are in line with whatever metrics they are looking for, you meet virtually with a recruiter. This "interview" is to verify your test results by taking the same two tests again. The recruiter also asked pretty standard screening questions (background, relevant experience).
What made the experience a really bizarre and negative one was the communication with the recruiter (and the third required test verification.) There was a lot of rescheduling and radio silence when it came to next steps. I received a message on 8/2 that the recruiter was meeting with the content development team and that they liked my experience. I replied then and then sent a follow up a week later and then nothing.
I know recruiters are very busy, and I guess I screwed my chances by emailing once a week about updates but then twice that last time, it just seemed odd that it went from "we're really excited about your experience" to radio silence and then an automated email informing me the position had been filled nearly a month later.
The number of times I had to take them with little context or explanation was weird. And I have wonder where the values of the company lay if timed and standardized tests are used to vet people. (SAT *cough cough*). Reviews left by current and former employees about the office culture makes me wonder If I dodged a bullet even if the work itself seemed interesting.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Relias en avr. 2019

Initial email mentioned 2 required assessments (personality and cognitive) for all potential employees. I passed and moved to Step #2/phone interview. I listened to interviewer explain the company and how it works--very little dialogue. They mentioned salary and asked if I was okay with the figure--no sense moving forward if the figure was not satisfactory. Moved on to Step #3/retake of the cognitive assessment, but this time live. I did the test online (could not see interviewer, but he could see me) for proof of authenticity. Did not pass it this time. 50 questions in 15 minutes. Hard test. There are some free practice tests online, but most require payment.

Question 1
Although I prepped for the typical interview questions and did research on the company, the phone interview was not about me or my work experience/history.
