J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Replit (San Francisco, CA) en nov. 2021
Entretien
There were a few stages. Due to my schedule it spread out over about a month or so.
Stage 1: A take home coding challenge done in their tool. This was a fun, basic coding exercise to be done in ~30 minutes.
Stage 2: A one hour Zoom call with an engineer on the team. Again, this was coding live in their tool (works well for interviewing due to multiplayer support).
Stage 3: A virtual "on site", where you spend a day working on a mini-project with them. The morning is a collaborative design session and the afternoon is a demo to present your work. This was more fun than many big tech on sites where you repeat the same interview 4-5 times. It felt more realistic.

Question 1
Q: Three coding questions of increasing scope/complexity/length.

Entretien
The interview process was very thorough and realistic.
After submitting the application online, the process entailed:
- Behavioral / get-to-know-you interview with someone on the recruiting team
- 1 hour technical phone screen, where we used Replit to work through a multi-part technical challenge, talking about the problem as we went
- Virtual On-site interview - with an hour-long kick-off video call in the morning to scope a 1-day real-world-like project, working individually on the project most of the day while asking questions and sharing updates on Slack, presenting what you made at the end of the day over a video call
- Video call with the founders as a last step and culture fit check
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
They asked a lot of questions to assess culture fit. The Replit blog has many good resources you can read ahead of time to determine for yourself if you think you think you'd be a good culture fit at the company or not.
