Entretien
It was an internal application. I worked for another company withing the Reply Group in Berlin and applied for a position as a Data Scientist in Munich.
Even though I got the offer, the result was so disappointing. They told me they couldn't do any salary adjustment, so basically i would have to work one year more with the same salary. After some minutes, the interviewer realized I couldn't live with such a salary in Munich, so he proposed a ~18% percent increase while the city is ~30% more expensive. Basically, the deal was about working in Munich for less money.
They also mentioned when people apply internally the cannot offer any hike, giving the example that if it was the case, all professionals working in countries with lower salary ranges will try to move to Germany.
Thumbs down fur such a terrible policy!

General "get-to-know" questions: Tell me about you, what was your last project, what techniques did you use, etc.
It was a friendly and relaxed first round HR interview with a very welcoming atmosphere. The conversation was not difficult, and the interviewer made a clear effort to create a comfortable environment, which helped me speak openly and feel at ease throughout the entire conversation.
Il primo colloquio è con le risorse umane (generico, introduttivo). Successivamente viene proposto un colloquio conoscitivo dove vengono chieste le esperienze accademiche e i progetti svolti. Il tutto termina con un colloquio tecnico.

Quali progetti svolti sono inerenti alla posizione per cui ti stai candidando?
Domande standard su percorso di studi ed interessi, più alcune domande di logica. Il colloquio è stato condotto dal responsabile del team sotto cui sarei poi andato a lavorare. Come primo colloquio del processo di assunzione è abbastanza normale.
