First, after applying with my CV I was contacted by one of the Reply HR members for a phone interview. After a pleasant chat and discussion of requirements and my skills, I was informed to wait for the email decision for the next steps. The next day I received an email from the Project manager/ one of the heads of the company regarding marketing and data. We scheduled an interview for another day with a few emails. On the meeting day, I was contacted by the reply HR member about changes in job location, transportation to work, office locations, etc. We both agreed that the interview with the main manager is still worth trying as my skills fit into the role and there might be different options for travelling as I was up for negotiation. I agreed on traveling at least once two weeks but was also open to travelling often if necessary. In the first minutes of the interview, I was greeted by an unprofessional manager who knew that I will not get a job after discussing it with his "boss". My attempts of introducing myself, and discussing work requirements in terms of travelling and offices were commented on rudely. At this point, I felt no need to heaving any discussion about the role. Being upset I tried to answer a few quick questions that the manager asked me. These were not near professional interview questions and did not check my actual knowledge of the topics or any practical points. The interview took a total of 10 min. It was a clear waste of time for both me and the HR member of the company. I am deeply concerned about the quality of work in this company, its culture, its working environment and any other potential threats if the interview process with the head of data and marketing looked just like this.
