I met with the hiring manager and 3 others, all of whom I found to be amicable and easy to talk to. The process took a little over a month. I was made an offer just before a major holiday and given only 48 hours to review and accept but was not even provided all of the details of the offer (pto, benefits) until I asked for them. When I finally received this information and countered with a 15% salary increase, higher title, and a request to confirm the additional vacation time I had previously discussed with the hiring manager (which was still less than my 2 previous roles), I was sent an email that more or less rescinded the offer due to the role “not being a good fit based on the counter points”. All sorts of red flags including that HR continued to redirect expressly HR-related questions to the HM instead of answering me directly. Definitely would recommend that RNDC review the offer process as a whole internally. I have never not countered a job offer. Particularly for those in sales roles this is commonplace and should to some extent be anticipated by the company before making the initial offer. It indicates to me that this HM in particular does not have much experience with hiring candidates whose performance is directly tied to sales results. After reading some of the reviews about how women are overlooked for promotions I am certain this would not have been a great fit for me but I was definitely excited initially to interview and receive and offer.

The interview process was very lengthy and I felt like I needed to follow up constantly to know what was going on. I had to follow with the managers quite a bit. Overall okay process.
