Entretien
We've started doing a pairing code assesment. They had the test environment setup and few tests already done with one failing test which would require some implementation and explanation. It was an average code session with friendly tech leads. After about 10 mins 2 other Archtect/Senior guys came up to a white board session. I've been to dozens of whiteboards sessions as well as I've conducted myself some and I've never seen before the interviewers trying to demotivate the candidate. I know it's natural to push the candidate to see how he reacts to a discussion but that was wat too much. The interviewers would even make faces of disaprovement. The ended the session and asked me if the previous guys had given me the chance to ask questions but in a "sarcastic way". When I've asked if they had some microservices they came up with; " Yes and it's nothing like this", poinitng to my diagram in the white board. To finish the humiliation they've said they were expecting someone "more senior".
