I was offered a phone interview given a time. I cleared my diary and sat and waited no call nothing. I messaged the river island contact she read the message ... no reply. A week later I get an email and voicemail saying Thankyou for the interview but you weren’t successful. Absolutely disgusting way to treat potential colleagues from now on I’m not shopping with them or ever recommending them they treat people appallingly

I was called back a couple of days after applying, then we arranged a phone interview. It was very typical, mostly questions about myself and my experience. Straight away, they invited me for a personal interview at the store where the position was advertised. I was a 1 on 1 interview with the manager, again with average questions, that were more competency based. E.g. I had to provide examples in order to demonstrate certain experience and skills. I also had to do a SWOT analysis before and talkt through it by a 10 minute presenation.
