The Interview process was very smooth and well structured. There were three steps- Initial screen with the Business Analyst head, a data challenge and lastly a meeting with the Hiring manager. Everything was very smooth and i was getting constant updates as well. But its only after my call with the HM that things really turned sour. I first head back from a recruiter saying they wont go ahead with me because there was a problem with the work authorization, which wasnt the case and I did clarify that to the recruiter. I was then informed that I would hear back with a decision from them in a couple of days regarding the position. That definitely wasnt the case. I was made to wait for over 2 weeks with no updates. The company stopped replying to my follow up emails. I finally heard back after 2 weeks when they informed me they still hadn't come to a consensus regarding the work authorization problem (2 weeks wasnt enough apparently). Finally after another week they finally let me know they suddenly decided that they dont need a Business Analyst anymore..
Honestly, it was a really good process right until the last few steps where the company decided to show a complete lack of respect only because all the cards were in their hands. The lack of updates and replies was truly unprofessional and it is definitely my worst interviewing experience. A little more transparency would have really gone a long way in making this hiring process a lot smoother.. I was very let down by the lack of professionalism shown and mixed answers i was receiving towards the end..

The interview process started with a recruiter phone screen, followed by a hiring manager interview. The conversation focused on my background, experience with SQL and analytics, and how I approach business problems. There were also some product and analytical thinking questions. The process was structured and focused on real business scenarios.
