Le processus a pris 4 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Royal Caribbean Group en juin 2011

      Entretien

I originally applied through a job posting on HCareers. I was contacted approximately a week to two weeks later by a recruiter from HR. This initial contact consisted of him explaining the position to me, the living arrangements, the compensation, etc. He explained, should I still be interested, that he would email me a formal interview request. This was done once the phone call was completed. In the email you are offered to choose 3 phone interview times. I chose one. Approximately 1-2 weeks later this was completed. This was a very standard 45 min phone interview with common situational questions asked- popular in the hospitality field. He also reviewed the compensation, living arrangements, contract period, etc. At the conclusion of the interview he said he would recommend I continue the process should I still be interested. From then I was sent a series of personality, skill, and assessment tests. There were 3 in total, but one would generate the next should I have passed. I was told once I passed all 3 I would then be sent on the next interview, which I was. This was with the original HR recruiter I had already spoken with twice and was a video interview call and occurred approximately 2 weeks after I completed the testing portion. This lasted an hour and was much more form based. He had a sheet of questions that the assessment portion had recommended he ask. From that point he said I would be contacted by the hiring manager for the last portion of the interview process. This is what took the longest amount of time. The hiring manager seemed to be a senior level employee who was very busy and also had vacation planned close to the time I was to be interviewed. Due to various delays it took nearly a month to interview with him. During the delays he sent me another test to take. Once I spoke to him he asked me 2 questions that that test had recommended and then made me the offer. The following day I was contacted by the HR recruiter who made the formal offer along with offer letter and various other new hire paperwork. I signed and filled out everything sent to me and sent it back with all requested documents. At this point the medical is asked to be done. I had that done, completed, and all relevant material approved within two weeks of the original offer letter. Once that was completed I contacted the HR recruiter and was told I would be hearing from a scheduler for my travelling information. I originally applied for the position in April and it is now mid July. I spoke to the HR recruiter yesterday and was asked if I could be ready to travel in two weeks, but have yet to receive formal information on these travel plans. The entire process is extremely drawn out and there is very little information given out unless you call and ask directly.
