Applied Online and had Phone Screen with Senior HR Recruiter who was lax in returning emails and to setting up onsite interview despite receiving a verbal that I already made it to the next phase. Met with a very cold "Would be" Hiring Manager who was taken back when I asked a simple question. I Then met with the Rep that I would be replacing (internal promotion) whom looked extremely burnt out. I had a decent conversation with him then he informed me that I shouldn't believe everything I read online about working for SAS. Based on what I saw with the hiring Manager and what he informed me of thereafter I practically ran out of the building after my interview,

A really unpleasant experience with one of the hiring manager. During the call she confirmed that I'm going to the next round and described the process further. After I had not received an invitation to the next call for a week, I emailed her, I got a standard reply "we have chosen the other candidate".. What is this for a strange way of working..
