Process took 2 weeks. I had an initial phone screen with the recruiter. It was the usual recruiter call where they ask previous experience and to see if you'd be a good fit for the roll.
A week later, I had a virtual interview with one of the engineers and the same recruiter. The engineer asked me some deep questions about my past experience such as internship and school projects. The questions were so deep to the point where I was genuinely lost. Not sure why the questions regarding design and data storage matters for a simple implementation done using .Net library methods. He was essentially asking me the structure of how the application worked. I was just an intern at the previous company and they provided no such information to me at the time.
We used up the allocated time for the interview but I was selected as they chose someone more aligned with the projects they are working on. Generally a bad experience on my end.
