My experience with the interview process was relatively easy. I was offered a position while I was working through an agency. I had been assigned to that hospital for a few weeks and during a shift a co-worker (on staff) mentioned I should apply. I spoke with the Nurse Manager regarding coming on staff and she was excited to hear I was interested. The Nurse Manager led me to HR and the rest was paperwork.

Took 10 minutes on the phone, asked one question. It was a very easy process, I’m assuming they hire everyone for permanent positions because they are short staffed. Everyone is leaving who has experience.

Recruiter described unit, set up interview with nurse manager. Interviewed with nurse manager, and then with a peer. Shadowed on unit following interview. A few days later, received offer from recruiter.
