The interview process consisted of an assignment and later a panel interview. While interacting with people was always a positive experience and everyone seemed really nice, I felt like this was a bit excessive for an entry level position (as an aside, the application also makes you answer several additional long-form questions on top of a cover letter). After all of this, I noticed that the job was reposted with a higher salary on their website. Later, I was rejected from the role. I wish jobs in general did not make us go through so many hoops, especially doing unpaid labor for them in the form of assignments when they are seemingly still not sure who they want to market towards. I left the experience feeling like I had been a Guinea pig for them, except that I dedicated real time and effort and got my hopes up every time I advanced to another level of the process. This job market is brutal and I wish entry level truly meant entry level.
