This job title is hard to fill. So, basically, everybody with US PhD and publications gets an offer. My interview was less than half an hour. I did all the talking about my Thesis. The offer came next day in email.

Not too extensive. Similar to other institutes. Based on my CV, the PI provided flight and hotel and the interview process was about 1 full day. Talked to the PI and lab mates.
