J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Scholastic (New York, NY) en mars 2021
Entretien
Friendly, but business-like. Nice people who are professional and simply looking for the right person. It started with a call from HR, then a meeting with a manager, then a face-to-face with the Editor in charge of all magazines.
Asked about experience and background, the interviewers were casual and seemed to know the type of editor they were looking for. Someone who is enthusiastic about learning and writing for children. This was an in person interview.
I went through three interviews and was invited to the final round, which involved completing an assignment with under 48 hours' notice. I did so, and then a week later I received a form rejection from the career portal. Really unexpected so late in the process—disrespectful to my time and qualifications.
