Met with the editor-in-chief and had a conversation about my past experience, my desire to work in the field and what I could contribute to the paper. Discussed why I am passionate about journalism and how it relates to my own life experiences. We discussed my past experience as a reporter, editor and now editor-in-chief of my university's independent newspaper.
