The recruiter didn't seem to understand the role and was incredibly low on enthusiasm, which made it pretty difficult to navigate. I didn't feel I particularly had their attention or interest from the offset. Overall a jarring experience.

Entretien
I had a very positive experience throughout the entire interview process with Semrush for a Senior Manager role.
The process was very well organized, transparent and human from beginning to end. Communication with Talent Acquisition was excellent during all stages, with quick feedback, clear explanations and a very supportive approach.
The process consisted of five stages overall:
Initial screening call with the recruiter, focused on background, motivation, experience, salary expectations and overall fit.
A second interview with the hiring manager and leadership, where we discussed operational topics, leadership situations and real-life experiences from previous roles.
A third interview with several members from different teams and areas, focused on collaboration, communication style, cross-functional work and cultural fit.
A final interview with senior leadership, focused more on strategy, leadership mindset, team vision and long-term expectations for the role.
Final HR/offer discussion phase.
One thing I especially appreciated was that the interviews felt more like professional conversations than interrogations. There was a strong focus on leadership, communication, operational thinking and collaboration, not only on technical knowledge.
The interviewers were approachable, experienced and genuinely interested in understanding both technical and human aspects of leadership.
Overall, one of the best recruitment experiences I’ve had in terms of professionalism, transparency and candidate experience.
